Fausta Ntiyakunze the Social Worker at WoteSawa safe house in Kasulu, Kigoma region. She holds a Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (BSW) from Kampala International University in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam). She has been working with WoteSawa since February 2019. She is a social worker with a passion for working with marginalized groups particularly women and children and people with disability.
Her main duties are providing support to victims of Human Trafficking and Survivors of Violence against Women and Children through communicating with victims and survivors, and providing them with counseling and psychosocial support; ensuring the safe house is well organized and supervised; ensuring beneficiaries’ well-being is maintained and providing status of all beneficiaries staying at the safe house.
