Legal, Advocacy & Compliance Coordinator

Joseph Mukoji is the Legal, Advocacy & Compliance Coordinator. He graduated from St. Augustine University of Tanzania with Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) in 2012. He joined the Organization in September, 2017 as a volunteer under Legal Department.

His main duties at the Organization are preparation of various legal documents, conducting training, building capacity and raising awareness on legal matters pertaining to Domestic Workers, including combatting human trafficking, resolving employment disputes between Domestic Workers and their employers through amicable ways, making case follow-ups in courts of law and providing legal advice. He is also responsible for informing other employees on legal and compliance issues, and ensuring organization’s operations and procedures comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
